Iblis, al-dajjal ironclad!

I painted this steamtank about a year ago as a centerpiece of my mercenary Empire army. The two crewmen were added from the Perry brothers mercenary plastic kit to tone down the ultra fantasy-esque character of the official engineer. Since my army is themed around units from different parts of the Empire (and the rest of the Old World), and I have a passion for the middle-east and islamic history, I thought this ironclad behemoth would originate from Araby. Named “Iblis” which is one of the names of the Devil in arabic, it is driven by two morish mercenaries. The pavise shields are also from the Perry Miniatures kit and are painted in the colors of the four paymasters/lords of the army.
